Kingdom Hearts will always be remembered as a shocking collaboration between two big franchises Squaresoft (now Square Enix) and Disney. Released in 2002 for the Playstation 2, the game that took the hearts of millions of fans. Now over a decade later the game that started it all has finally made it’s way back to the Playstation 3 in high definition!

This is the moment North American’s have been waiting for! Today is the official launch of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix! For the first time North American’s get to experience Kingdom Hearts Final Mix in all it’s glory full of new cutscenes, new keyblades, new abilities and an extra boss fight!

Hot on the heels of Europe having their own launch event, North America will have their launch event as well! On Sunday, September 8th, 2013 from 12pm to 6pm at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, CA, Square Enix and Disney will be holding the launch party for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix!

When Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced at E3 2013, series director Tetsuya Nomura has stated in interviews that new information will be presented at Tokyo Game Show 2013. As the days draw nearer, a full exhibitor list has appeared online for Tokyo Game Show showing off all the companies and the games that will appear at each of their booths. Low and behold, Kingdom Hearts III is on that list for Square Enix. It’s being accompanied by Lightning Returns, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, and Final Fantasy XV.
