Since July 1st, 2008, Entertainment Software Rating Board (aka ESRB) featured much more detailed content summaries in their website, instead of rather vague descriptions on the tiny box on the back of the game cover.

Here's what they have to say for Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories.

Rating summary: Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is an action role-playing game (RPG) in which players explore different worlds, collect items and cards, and progress through levels by defeating various creatures (monkeys, jellyfish, flying hat mages, etc.) and boss characters. Players mostly use swords and magic to defeat enemies who sometimes groan then disappear into a mist of smoke when defeated. Players receive experience points and currency cards at the end of each battle. One cutscene depicts a clone who talks about his impending death as he slowly disintegrates.

Whether or not this means that certain scenes are censored or not, remains to be seen.

Source: HCG's Article About Detailed ESRB Ratings, ESRB Official Website, Re: CoM's Rating Description

[Discussion and Comments]

That's all for now!

What goes on good peoples?

This is andrel2006, one of the new Japanese translators for KH Ultimania. As I happened to be online upon the revelation of these new Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days scans, I decided it may be in many peoples' interests if I translated it. Sound good?

The primary significance of this scan lies in what it reveals about Xion. First, it appears that she is very deeply connected to the culmination of the Organization's plans. And the scan intimates that even among the Nobodies of Organization XIII, Xion is a very special and heretical existence, so to speak.

DIALOGUE:
(Scan with Xion, Roxas and Axel on DI):
Xion: So, how can I get to be like you guys?

(Scan with Xion to the left of the former):
Xion: Just...who...am I?

(Scan with Pete):
Pete: My plans for the Heartless are already done!

(Scan with Jack Skellington):
Jack: ...Suddenly disappearing...
...Suddenly appearing...
In places I've grown accustomed to...

And that is that.
